Is-there-a-prepaid-cellular-phone-in-your-future-
By Ron Henson
Cellular phones are nice to have when you travel or need to be contacted. For those who travel back and forth to work it is nice to have a cell phone in case of emergency. But what if you're on a budget? Almost anyone can afford a cell phone. Society has put so much emphasis on having a cell phone that it almost seems silly if you're not a user. Well even for those who don't plan on using their cell phone a lot, they have a plan for you. It is a pre-paid phone.

What is a pre paid phone? It is a phone that is can cost as little as twenty dollars and allows you to pay for the minutes, as you need them. You buy something that looks like a credit card and you will receive a code with your card. You call in the code to activate the minutes. Once you have activated your minutes, you are able to use them as needed.

This is difficult for those who use their phone a lot. It is best for people who don't use it for personal use but for emergencies only. These phones can also be used as a stepping-stone of responsibility to younger children. Pre-teens and teenagers are able to learn some responsibility with a pre-paid phone. They can work to earn the money for the cards and also show them a bit of the real world when they run out of minutes and can't afford more.

A pre-paid can

be treated like a regular cell phone. By this you can purchase accessories for the phone depending on the brand of the phone. You can buy the phone faceplates, phone covers, cell phone headsets, and so on. It is important for you to get as many or little accessories that you need. Usually a pre-paid phone is used little, so you may not need or want any accessories.

You can also take advantage of online sites that provide you with cell phone ring tones and wallpaper. Like all the other phones, you should never drive while on your phone. You should treat the pre-paid phone as a regular phone, but with more responsibility since you have to spread your minutes over the amount of time it would take you to replace the card. As stated as above, it is a good learning tool for younger people.
